ABOUT AISLING
I am a Multimedia Artist based in Dublin, experienced in Videography, Photography & Graphic Design.
I currently work full time as a Graphic Designer but am always open to working on freelance projects for illustration, branding, videography or photography. I have a passion for visual storytelling and always aim to create distinctive, provocative work. If you think I could be a good fit for a project you're working on, I'd love to hear from you!
Education:
I have a BSc. in Multimedia from Dublin City University. Here, I learned a variety of skills such as photography, videography, graphic design, interaction design, physical computing & sound design. For my thesis project, myself and 4 friends created an immersive art installation that explored the creative mind and process, that featured video, animation, sound design, graphic design & tangible media. We used these mediums to illustrate how an artist's environment can effect their creative process.
Awards & Achievements:
While in college, I was the Media Rep for DCU's Surf 'n' Sail club. I received DCU's "Best Communications & Marketing Campaign" award 2 years in a row for the work I created for Surf 'n' Sail.
Since leaving college, I have had photography work published in the "All Kinds" art book and Bealtaine magazine. I also had design work featured in the Creatives Against Covid exhibition.
I have also designed & sold T-shirts in aid of MASI and Bodywhys.
